Several up days in the U.S. Equities market moved all the major indexes as we see an increase in the percentage of bullish stocks. Across the board, most of the indexes are now in the 50% or average range.
Index BPI: All major indexes are once again positive. I pay most attention to the NYSE and NASDAQ as they are broad indexes and include a wider range of companies. Both of these indexes showed respectable gains in the number of PnF or bullish stocks.
If you look back to the week of 2/2/18 you see an over bought market. We are now back to an average market which is neither an especially good time to buy or sell equities. In this type of market the Buy, Hold, and Rebalance portfolios should do well. Examples are the Schrodinger and Weisskopf.
Sector BPI: It is always interesting to see where the money went during the week. Financial, Health, Industrial, and Technology are the four sectors that benefited from the strong market this week. There was an outflow from the stable and income oriented Utilities.
