We need to pay attention to Materials as the BPI percentage dropped to 34.6%.

Discretionary and Materials are still oversold with Discretionary dropping a few more percentage points.

The Industrial sector dropped into the oversold zone so I purchased shares of VIS. In two cases the portfolio already held shares of VIS, but of insufficient shares so I added more shares of this ETF.

All major indexes are bearish after the decline this week. All indexes fall between 45% bullish to as high as 56.66% bullish.

As for the sectors, Discretionary continues to be oversold. Only Energy is overbought. All other sectors are in the neutral zone.

Industrial bears watching as it dropped to 35.44% bullish.

Materials took a big hit dropping nearly 20 points.

Discretionary dropped into the oversold zone so I will be purchasing shares of VCR in Carson, Franklin and McClintock portfolios after the market opens this morning.

Technology and Real Estate are still overbought. There are no oversold sectors so no buying opportunities.

The closest to a buy is Discretionary with a 37.5% BPI reading. This sector is one to watch as it could dip below the 30% level.

Health is the next closest to the buy threshold with a 40.67% BPI reading.

Real Estate moved into the overbought zone so I placed 3% TSLOs under VNQ. Technology is also overbought. TSLOs were already in place so no change there.

Recession Preparation

Here are more suggestions as to where to move to prepare for the coming Recession. I recommend staying away from long-term bonds and fixed interest investments other than what one might use as a short-term holding tank for future investments. I use SHV as a low volatile ETF that is paying close to 4%, down a percentage point over the past year.
