The first caution is to pay no attention to the Pasteur data as that portfolio was just launched and is primarily in cash. Annualized calculations exaggerate data so just pass over this information for several weeks if not months. Watch the data settle down as we move from week to week. Otherwise, the trends continue to remain positive with few exception. Had the market not rebounded on Friday, our percentages would have looked even better as most of the portfolios are defensive in their allocations.
Portfolio Performance: We are particularly pleased to see all portfolios trending in the Positive (P) area with respect to the VTSMX index. There is lots of green and yellow in the risk columns (IR, SR, and RR), another positive sign. We now need to work on moving all portfolios into positive territory when measured against the ITA Index, our customized benchmark set up for each portfolio.
While we lost a little ground in a few portfolios, overall the week was acceptable as we continue to hold on to the positive trends when compared to data six weeks ago.
