The following material is posted so Platinum members can prepare for the coming week of investing. I’ll begin with the Efficient Frontier.
Efficient Frontier: I set this portfolio up in such a way that the allocations came close to matching the optimizer recommendations. That is why the diamond dot approximates the red dot location.
Rankings: Here we have the ranking of the core ETFs used in many of the portfolios tracked here at ITA Wealth Management. There was a little rotation this week, but not much change.
Keep and eye on ETFs where the price dropped below their 13-Day EMAs and see if the decline continue to where the price also penetrates the 49-Day EMA.
Buy-Hold-Sell Recommendations: For those wanting to activate the ITARR model, here is the information. Sell those holdings that are priced below their 195-Day EMA. Check out which ETFs appear to be the best buys.
Momentum Guidelines: This worksheet requires one to put in the size of the portfolio. In this example I used $100,000. The next entry or decision is one of specifying what percentage to invest in the top performing securities. In one of the more recent Feynman Study articles, 25% was invested in each of the top four ETFs. In this example I selected 8 ETFs and used percentages ranging from 16% down to 9%, stepping down 100 basis points at a time. The worksheet tells the reader how many shares are in the portfolio as well as the number of shares to Buy or Sell. A Lookup function is embedded in the worksheet to make this determination. This is to make it very easy for the end user to know how many shares to exclude or include in the portfolio for each ETF of interest.
