Below is the first screenshot of the Tranche Investing spreadsheet created by HedgeHunter. All that is required of the investor is to enter the securities, specify the number of shares held in each security, name the portfolio, enter available cash, and update the data.
Tranche Worksheet: Here is an example of the Galileo portfolio with 12 offset options and a maximum of 2 securities held for each offset. Under the Shares section we see the Required number of shares to fit these metrics. In the next column we see the number of Held shares and the third critical column shows the difference.
