Finding top performing ETFs to add to your personal portfolio is an added feature I hope to include near the start of each month if not the beginning to each week. What I’ve done is break the global stock market into five broad asset classes. They are:
- U.S. Equities.
- International Equities including Emerging Market Equities.
- Sectors, even though many will overlap U.S. Equities.
- Bonds and Treasuries. This section includes both U.S. and International Bonds.
From each of these major groups I select five or fewer ETFs that pass the LRPC screens. ETFs that pass the screens are then placed in what I call the Top Tier ETFs. The current list is shown below.
This screening routine is similar to what HedgeHunter has done with the Hawking portfolio when it was first launched.
Top Tier ETF Recommendations: From this elite group I select five or six ETFs which I will add to the current group in a particular LRPC portfolio. On Monday I will review the Bethe portfolio. To the existing ETFs I plan to add REM, XLE, SLYG, XSLV, WOOD, and DBC if they are not already part of the Bethe. If I recall correctly, REM, WOOD, and DBC are already part of Bethe. If this is the case, then only XLE, XSLV and SLYG will be added to the Bethe investment quiver for further analysis.
Watch for the Bethe review to see how this works.
