Here are two images from Yosemite National Park that remind me of Ansel Adams, one of the masters of black and white photograph.
Camera settings were: ISO 200, 18mm focal length, 1/200s, and f/5.0.
The same falls from a different angle.

Both images were made using the Olympus OM-D EM-1 Mark II. Settings on this second photograph were: ISO 200, focal length 20mm, 1/320s, and f/9.0. The lens was the Olympus 12-100 Pro zoom.
