In order to reduce the number of Spam registrations I installed several plugins that are designed to ward off bogus registrations. I hope this does not pose too many barriers to legitimate users.
When you log in, check the "remember me" box as that is to remember your login for two or three weeks. Not sure it works properly, but that is the idea behind that box.
