If you are looking for Top Tier ETFs to add to your investment quiver, you will find suggestions within this blog post. Just look for ETFs showing up as a Buy in the Position, found on the right-hand side of the Kipling spreadsheet.

Lee,
I missed this question and I apologize. The primary screens I use come straight out of the Kipling spreadsheet. As you do, I then run a correlation and throw out highly correlated ETFs.
I'm making progress in reducing the number of securities in the investment quiver as performance results from the Rutherford 10 do quite well. It does not take many ETFs as shown by the Rutherford back-tests.
As I recall, the Rutherford 10 goes way back to two portfolios. One is from Faber's book and the second is from David Swensen's book. Swensen only recommends asset classes whereas Faber recommended specific ETFs - mainly Vanguard.
Those two portfolios were combined to come up with the Rutherford 10.
Your screening process makes sense to me. As you will note from recent blogs, I'm paying more attention to correlation analysis.
