Checking the Bullish Percent Indicator (BPI) data this morning, only Materials is oversold. This sector, like most of the other 10, moved up since purchasing VAW. Utilities and Energy moved above the 30% bullish line. We need to keep a watchful eye on Staples as it is only 32.43% bullish or very close to the buy zone.
McClintock Security Holdings
The McClintock currently holds four of the eleven sectors. Checking the right-hand column, all four are slightly above target. There was no need to included a rebalancing screenshot in this post as all sectors are in balance based on the Sector BPI recommendations.

McClintock Performance Data
Since 12/31/2021 the McClintock lags both SPY and the broader U.S. Equities ETF, VTI. The portfolio is topping the total market ETF, VT as well as AOA and AOR.

McClintock Risk Ratios
Over most of this past year the McClintock trailed the S&P 500 benchmark. We look to the Information Ratio for this trend. Halfway into January we see the Jensen Alpha at its lowest point for the entire year. Keep an eye on the Jensen as we may be observing a period when the Sector BPI model is not working as well as anticipated. The performance decline began last September so this is not a one month event.
