Easter Music Selections
St. Matthew Passion and St. John Passion are two pieces of music that quickly come to mind during this Easter season. While the St. Matthew is the more popular with many listeners, my favorite is the St. John, as there are several familiar choruses.
Most compositions of the “The Last Seven Words of Christ” are not musically pleasing, but if I were to choose one it would be this one by Theodore Dubois.
