With this portfolio comparison data table a pattern is beginning to develop. It appears as if the better performing portfolios are those with long-range goals. That is the group at the top. Curie and Newton, if posted monthly, would also be in this group.
It is interesting that each investing model contains at least one portfolio that is outperforming the Schrodinger based on a Return-Risk adjusted basis. I use the Schrodinger as a reference as it is managed by computer algorithms.
Comparison Performance Data
Keep in mind the different launch date for the Copernicus.
As we move through 2023 we should see some changes in the Jensen and Jensen Slope, two of the major factors in determining the Relative Weight. The other critical value is the IRR for Period. A few good days and several portfolios will move the IRR values out of the red.
Over the next few months, keep an eye on the Carson, Franklin, and Copernicus as these are relatively new ITA investing models. The Copernicus style is as old as investing, but the Carson and Franklin are unique – at least based on my knowledge base.
