Schrodinger Portfolio Update: 8 July 2026

Schrodinger is the Robo Advisor (RA) portfolio housed with Schwab.  This computer managed portfolio is performing exceptionally well despite carrying between 7% and 8% cash at all times.  I highly recommend a family include at least one RA portfolio as a means of portfolio diversification.

Schrodinger Security Holdings

Below are the current holdings in the Schrodinger.  This last month shares of SCMB were added to the portfolio.  Otherwise no changes other than second quarter dividends were added to the cash holdings.

Schrodinger Performance Data

Since 12/31/2021 the Schrodinger has far outperformed all benchmarks.  Schrodinger is one of the better performing portfolios tracked here at ITA.

Schrodinger Risk Ratios

Only the Sortino Ratio is lower than it was last year.  The Jensen Alpha and Information Ratio, the two critical risk metrics, are above where they were last July and the slope of the Jensen is positive.  Based on the risk measurements this is not a high risk portfolio.

There is little to add to this blog other than to continue to let this portfolio ride on the back of computers.  This is a hands off portfolio with the owner doing nothing other than adding new cash when possible.  I should add that there is no cost to manage the Schrodinger and since the value is greater than $50,000 it is tax managed.
