Einstein is one of several portfolios using a truncated Asset Allocation investing model. This is a new and simplified approach in the hopes of setting this portfolio on a stronger performance course. As with many of the other ITA portfolios, I am taking a cautious approach and that is the reason for setting Trailing Stop Loss Orders under many securities in an effort to protect capital.
Einstein Security Holdings
One correction in the following table. That should read 10% for SHV instead of 5%.
I have Trailing Stop Loss Orders in for selling parts of the equity holdings. The TSLOs are:
- 3.25% for SCHG
- 3.75% for VOO
- 4.0% for SCHD
If an when the TSLOs are struck, the available cash is used to purchase more shares of SHV.

Einstein Performance Data
As with the Kepler, the performance of the Einstein is dismal. There is an explanation for the Einstein as cash was needed for educational purposes and the withdrawals occurred at a low point, thus hurting the performance.

Einstein Risk Ratios
While the slope of the Jensen is currently positive, the Jensen Alpha has held steady over the last several quarters. All current values are above where they were a year ago. The current asset allocation model is basically holding its own against the AOR benchmark.
