McClintock is approaching one-year as a Sector BPI portfolio. As one of the younger BPI portfolios it has not been through many sector buy and sell cycles. Since the last update shares of VCR and VDC were sold out of the McClintock so cash is available to add to VTI and/or VOO. No sectors are oversold so there are no new buying opportunities among the eleven sectors.
McClintock Sector BPI Portfolio
Below are the current holdings for the McClintock. Limit orders are in place to purchase more shares of VOO and VTI. Preference is given to VOO as it is a mirror of the S&P 500 and the goal of this portfolio is to outperform the S&P 500 index.

McClintock Performance Data
Although not a Sector BPI portfolio since 12/31/2021, I use that date as a launch period so all ITA portfolios can be compared with each other. While the McClintock lags the SPY benchmark it is outperforming the S&P 500 index as well as all other potential benchmarks.

McClintock Risk Ratios
Despite lagging the SPY benchmark the McClintock is slowly adding alpha to the portfolio as we can see from the slope of the Jensen. The addition is not dramatic as the slope is nearly flat. Should the risk-free interest rate for SHV drop from its 5.14% level we will see some improvement in the Jensen Performance Index.
The Information Ratio is a direct comparison with the benchmark and that slope, although not shown, is negative. Overall, the McClintock is one of the more lack-luster Sector BPI portfolios.
