If you are pondering over where all the blog posts went, here is an explanation as best I am able to reconstruct.
- I was in the process of deleting old portfolio reviews from back in 2013 through 2015 as they were no longer useful. I was doing this in preparation of setting up a new backup system as the old one was no longer working properly.
- In the process of deleting old posts I ran into a problem. Some plugins were conflicting with each other. This happens when plugin authors do not update their code to match the latest version of WordPress. Several of these conflicts caused major problems. I was unaware of this until the Hosting tech folks spotting several problems.
- In the process of deleting old posts, and I was using a special plugin for this purpose, the site went bonkers and began deleting posts I was protecting from deletion.
While most of the old reviews are not necessary as new reviews include all the old data, there were critical post that were lost in this debacle. In a month or so the various portfolios will soon have a bit more history available and I will try to fill in the gaps by doing some interim updates.
Currently, there is at least one review for each of the 21 portfolios tracked here on the ITA website.
If you have any questions, leave them in the Comments section.
To see what portfolios are coming up for review, check out the middle footer. That is where I list the portfolios that will be reviewed over the next week. There are a number coming up next week.
