Grand Tetons
Bohr is a portfolio in transition as I am shifting toward the Sector BPI Plus investing model. It will take time as the Closed-End-Funds are set to sell using limit orders and it might be weeks before they reach the limit price. Should any of the market sectors dip into the oversold zone, I will raise cash to make the recommended purchases.
Bohr Investment Quiver and Holdings
Below is the current investment quiver and holdings for the Bohr. No sectors are part of the portfolio as we have not experienced any Buy recommendations since I began this shift. The Bohr currently holds shares in U.S. Equities and a number of CEFs.

Bohr Security Recommendations
Using the BHS model (red arrow) and a one-year or 252 trading days look-back (green arrow) U.S. Equities are showing or recommending Hold. The sector ETFs (gray background) follow a different set of criteria for Buy and Sell decisions.
I set the maximum number of assets to 11 so there is room to populate all sectors should we ever see a time when all are oversold. This situation is rare.

Bohr Manual Risk Adjustments
When the U.S. Equity ETFs show a Hold and we have nearly $20,000 in cash, the place to go is BIL. I have limit orders in place to purchased 200 shares of BIL. The limit orders are set very close to the current price as the price of BIL does not move significantly from day to day.

Bohr Performance Data
Over the past 18.5 months the Bohr lags the SPY benchmark, but comes much closer to the AOR and ESGV references.

Bohr Risk Ratios
Checking the risk factors, the Jensen Alpha is showing improvement since last April. This is encouraging as the short-term interest rate continues to rise and this increase places downward pressure on the Jensen as well as the Sortino Ratio.
While the slope of the Jensen is negative, it is less negative than it was when the Bohr was last reviewed.

To keep the backup of this blog to a reasonable percentage I delete old blog posts. Other than special past posts, I’m limiting the individual portfolio histories to approximately the past year.
