Here is another example of working with an image using Luminar AI. If you are seeking help with Luminar AI, just Google “Luminar AI YouTube” without the quotes. Jim Nix has many excellent tutorials.
Statue of Fisherman – Original
The following image was made in the evening (illuminating lamps are on) on a foggy day. While it is possible to remove the fog using Dehaze, it adds to the ambiance in my opinion.
Once more, I was using the Olympus OM-D EM-1 Mark II. The lens is my favorite, 12-100 mm. ISO was 400 with f/4 and speed at 1/80s. With this lens on the new Olympus Mark III, you gain 7 stops of stability. Great for shaky hands.
Statue of Fisherman – Enhanced
With a bit of cropping, and detail enhancements, one can see the small pins on the hat – designed to discourage sea gulls from landing. I also applied a mask to his face to brighten it a tad.
With a little more work I could have remove the artificial lamp reflection off the bottom of his left leg.

I can endorse Lowell’s recommendation to try Luminar AI. I use it to touch up most of the photos that I post on this site and it takes very little time/effort unless trying to achieve “perfection” – but that is usually in the eyes of the “artist” anyway.
As Lowell advises, always try to start from RAW files/images.
