Einstein Portfolio Review: 24 March 2006

Einstein is the portfolio up for review.  Einstein continues to be one of the poorest performing portfolios as the owner is funding graduate education resulting in money moving out of the portfolio at critical times.

Einstein Security Holdings

Below are the current holdings for the Einstein.  Several asset classes have yet to be populated due to lack of cash.  Small limit orders are in place to purchase shares of VTI and VEA.

The percentage held in SHV is well above the recommended percentage as this money is held in reserve for future tuition expenditures.

Einstein Rebalancing Recommendations

Instead of selling shares of SHV and rebuilding VEA and VTI, I will rely in new money additions to rebuilt U.S. Equities and Developed International Equities while hold SHV shares as a reserve for future expenditures.

Einstein Performance Data

Since 12/31/2021 the Einstein has fallen far below the AOR benchmark.  The most likely explanation is given above.

Einstein Risk Ratios

Over the past year the Jensen Alpha remained quite consistent as shown by a flat slope.  Despite educational withdrawals the Sortino Ratio also remained stable.
