Another Canby scarecrow
Patients paid off as there was action this week in the sectors market. Materials dipped to a 30% bullish level so I added shares of VAW to each of the three Sector BPI portfolios of which Franklin is one. Not showing up in the first screenshot is the addition of another two shares of SHV so the cash is nearly zero.
Franklin ETF Holdings
Below are the current Franklin holdings with exception of another two shares of SHV added since I began writing this blog.
Should another sector dip into the oversold zone, I will sell sufficient shares of SHV to raise cash to purchase the ETF representing that sector. While we wait for additional sector movements the Franklin will throw off a dividend in excess of 3.3%.

Franklin Performance Data
Since 12/31/2021 the Franklin has outperformed the AOR benchmark. However, the Franklin is far behind the SPY benchmark. As stated here many times, it is very difficult to outperform the S&P 500.

Franklin Risk Ratios
How is the Franklin performing when risk enters the equation? Each of the four risk factors are well above where they were last October. Other than dips last spring, the Jensen Performance Index is performing very well. Recent holdings in cash caused a decline here in October, but the general trend (slope = 0.29) is positive.
