Bohr Sector BPI Portfolio Review: 13 October 2023

October 15, 2023 By Lowell Herr

Bohr is currently classified as a Sector BPI Plus portfolio, but it is still in transition from a Growth and Income portfolio.  This portfolio continues to hold a number of Closed-End-Funds (CEFs).  Now that the third quarter dividends are in I’ll be selling them and reinvesting in the oversold sectors.

Bohr Sector BPI Portfolio Review: 30 October 2023

October 30, 2023 By Lowell Herr

The Bohr portfolio is new to the Sector BPI investing model.  Positioning the different sectors that are oversold is primarily what is happening in this review or update.  There is a significant percentage in cash and that will be allocated to sectors that are under populated and are oversold based on Bullish Percent Indicator data.  […]

Sector BPI Investing: Bohr Portfolio Review – 22 November 2023

November 22, 2023 By Lowell Herr

Bohr is the Sector BPI portfolio scheduled for review this morning.  Before making any decisions or moving forward with this update of the Bohr, I checked the Bullish Percent Indicators (BPI) for the eleven market sectors and found no changes.  Technology is still overbought and that is the single sector currently residing outside the “neutral” […]

Bohr Portfolio Review: 18 December 2023

December 18, 2023 By Lowell Herr

Last Friday VPU and VNQ were sold out of the Bohr as the Trailing Stop Loss Orders (TSLOs) were struck.  The sale of these two sector ETFs results in a 34% cash level so some decisions are required as to what to do with this money.  No sectors are currently in the Buy or oversold […]

Bohr Sector BPI Portfolio Review: 28 December 2023

December 28, 2023 By Lowell Herr

As positive results from the Carson portfolio began to emerge, I began switching portfolios that were using either the Relative Strength or Dual Momentum models over to the Sector BPI investing model.  Bohr is one of the portfolios that began the transition in late October and early November of 2023.  With little data to go […]

Bohr Sector BPI Portfolio Review: 25 January 2024

January 26, 2024 By Lowell Herr

Before proceeding with the Bohr review, on occasion I see where an interested investor subscribes to the ITA Wealth Management blog, but they do not show up as a Guest.  If I do not see a Guest registration I am unable to elevate the user to the Platinum level so they can read all the […]

Bohr Portfolio Review: 19 July 2024

July 20, 2024 By Lowell Herr

Over the next few months the Bohr will follow the management style of the Huygens and Pauling portfolios.  There will be slight differences in the percentage allocated to different asset classes, but the asset allocation model will be followed. The owner of the Bohr will need a significant percentage of this portfolio over the next […]

Bohr Asset Allocation Portfolio Review: 24 September 2024

September 24, 2024 By Lowell Herr

Bohr is the asset allocation portfolio up for review this morning.  As we approach the end of the third quarter, I have a question.  Do any readers know if Schwab adjusts the price on a limit order when a dividend is pending?  TD Ameritrade made such adjustments on limit orders, but I recall something from […]
