Einstein is the portfolio up for an update this morning. While this is another Sector BPI portfolio, the Einstein has only been using this model a little over four months so it is much too early to have clues as to how well the model is functioning. Cash flows in and out of the portfolio as the owner need tuition cash on a regular basis. This provides another variable for readers to take into account when using the Sector BPI investing model.
Einstein Security Holdings
Below is the investment quiver and current holdings. A 3% TSLO is in place to sell all shares of ESGV. When that happens ESGV will be removed from the quiver leaving VTI and VOO as the U.S. Equities options. VOO will be the first “go to” ETF as this is a mirror of the S&P 500 and the goal is to match or exceed the performance of the S&P 500.

Einstein Manual Risk Adjustments
A limit order is in place to add 5 shares of VTI and as mentioned above, a 3% TSLO is set to eliminate ESGV from the Einstein.
While Utilities is currently out of the oversold zone, I continue to hold or maintain limit orders to add more shares of VPU. These orders are highly unlikely to be activated until Utilities drops back into the oversold zone. The limit orders for VPU were set when Utilities was positioned in the oversold zone.

Einstein Performance Data
Since 12/31/2021 the Einstein continues to struggle to close the gap on the SPY benchmark. As with a few other poor performers the Einstein has not been using the Sector BPI model long enough to make any significant difference.

Einstein Risk Ratios
Both the Jensen and Information Ratios have not varied all that much over the last few months. Once the cash situation is more stable we will be able to gain a better understanding as to the viability of the Sector BPI model as it works within the Einstein.

From time to time I post composite performance data and that body of information smooths out the top and bottom portfolio performances giving a better idea as to the viability of the Sector BPI investing model.
