We end the second quarter of 2023 on a strong note with the vast majority of indexes and sectors bullish.  The "Misery Index" stands at 7.7 or one of the lower values for an administration approaching reelection for a second term. New signals are … [Read more]

Franklin Portfolio Review: 30 June 2023

June 30, 2023 By Lowell Herr

As one of four Sector BPI portfolios, the Franklin continues to benefit from the sector investing model.  Those benefits, while early in the hypothesis phase, are beginning to show promise as we can see from this data.  Since the last review or … [Read more]

Copernicus Portfolio Update: 28 June 2023

June 28, 2023 By Lowell Herr

After updating a few lackluster portfolios, it is refreshing to review a strong yet simple portfolio.  Other than the Schrodinger where the owner does noting but save, the Copernicus comes in a close second for simplicity. Copernicus Investment … [Read more]

Bethe Portfolio Review: 27 June 2023

June 27, 2023 By Lowell Herr

The following Bethe update is not so much where the portfolio is currently.  Rather, it is the direction the portfolio is moving in the future.  Currently, the Bethe holds a high percentage of the portfolio in income generating CEFs.  While I have … [Read more]
