Bugatti Aerolithe – Third View.
U.S. Equities are taking another huge hit as I write this blog. Due to holding a high percentage in short-term treasuries and a dividend oriented ETF, the Bohr is tempering the draw-down. Nevertheless, the tariff debacle is ripping into 401(k) retirement accounts.
In the rebalancing section of this blog I will state how I am dealing with this volatile market.
Bohr Asset Allocation Holdings
Below are the current holdings in the Bohr portfolio. As readers can see, SHV is over-weighted while the remaining three asset classes are under-weighted. Cash is essentially zero. The plan is to hold and even add to SHV when cash becomes available.

Bohr Rebalancing Recommendations
Checking the Shares Required column, I plan to do nothing at this point. Where these “normal” times I will be selling shares of SHV and investing in the under-weighted ETFs such as VOO, SCHG, and SCHD. Rebalancing is out of the question until we know how the tariff war will end – if it ever does over the next 3.8 years. If the owner of this portfolio adds new cash I plan to purchase more shares of SHV. There is also the possibility of adding shares to SCHD as it is a lower volatile ETF compared to the other two securities.

Bohr Performance Data
Since 12/31/2021 the Bohr lags the AOR benchmark. The differential is much greater when compared with SPY. We need to remember that the Bohr was not working under the current asset allocation for most of the period over which this data pertains. Regardless, it will be difficult to close the gap with AOR.

Bohr Risk Ratios
There are a few bright spots among the dreary data.
- There is a slight gain of the Jensen Alpha. We see steady improvement since December of 2024.
- The slope of the Jensen is positive.
- The Information Ratio is improving. This indicates the Bohr is gaining ground on AOR.
