American Kestrel
Einstein is the last portfolio to be reviewed in February. The current asset allocation is designed to be recession resistant while still providing some room for capital appreciation.
The portfolio is not completely in balance, but should be in another month or so, depending on price changes.
Einstein Asset Allocation Holdings
Below are the current holdings within the Einstein. Once the portfolio is fully populated the annual income should approach 3.0%.

Einstein Rebalancing Recommendations
Limit orders are in place to bring the assets below target up closer to the recommended percentages. The goal is to keep each ETF within one percentage point of the recommended target percentage.

Einstein Performance Data
As mentioned in yesterday’s blog post, the Einstein is one of the poorest performing portfolios tracked here at ITA. In the past I’ve given some reasons for this poor performance. At this point we will check the Risk Ratio data to see if there is improvement or if the portfolio is falling further behind the AOR benchmark.
Once more, the Investment Account Manager software is not picking up all the ETFs. I suspect the dividend oriented ETFs are not identified properly.

Einstein Risk Ratios
Now we come to the risk measurements. The two most critical ratios, Jensen and Information, show modest improvement. The slope of the Jensen is essentially flat. If there is any kind of correction or draw-down, the Jensen should hold up quite well. At least that is the basic design for this asset allocation makeup.

Comments are always welcome.
Next month we begin reviews with Huygens, Pauling, Gauss, and Kepler.
