“Photography is the story I fail to put into words.” – Destin Sparks
If there happens to be an ITA reader who has an interest in photography, here is an example of an enhance image using Luminar AI.
The photograph I’m using is one I made before the pandemic. The location is Mammoth Hot Springs in Yellowstone National Park.
When you first look at the above image, it does not look all that poor. At the very top you see some green and there are yellows and rust colors as well as the white flowing through the photograph.
The enhanced photo is shown below and I want to place it close enough to the original so you can A-B test or make a quick comparison. While you may make different adjustments, the idea is to recreate the photo as you remember it.
For a better understanding as to how Luminar AI can be used to improve or enhance your photographs, I suggest watching tutorial videos by Jim Nix. There are other photographers you will encounter, but Jim is a good starting point.
While there are many Jim Nix helpful videos, I’ll suggest one to get you started. Check out this link and then look for more depending on your interests. Look around and find one where Jim does a sky replacement.
In nearly all the photographs I include with the investment blog posts, I do a little enhancing to make the images “pop.”
