Starbucks: Early Morning
Exactly three months ago I published ITA portfolio performance data. This blog is an update of that data. A link to the February data is linked below so readers can compare performance of the different portfolios. Several changes occurred since the February data. Huygens and Pauling joined the Schrodinger as Asset Allocation models. Currently, Schrodinger is the only Robo Advisor or as Schwab titles it, an Intelligent Portfolio managed by computer.
This evening TD Ameritrade accounts are to be transferred over to Schwab. It may be time to ask owners if they would like to have their portfolio managed by computer. The Einstein is certainly a candidate.
Composite Portfolio Performance Data
When examining the following table there is information to keep in mind.
- The Annual IRR data (third column from the left) is current as of 5/9/2024 with a starting date of 1/02/2022.
- Other data is current as of the date shown under the Date column. When a portfolio is reviewed I update this spreadsheet.
- The investing models break down into three different approaches.
- Sector BPI investing model or the top eleven portfolios. Not all portfolios are reported on monthly.
- Equity only or the Copernicus portfolio. This is a high risk portfolio.
- Asset Allocation model with the Schrodinger managed by computer algorithms.
- The S&P 500 and AOR data is accurate as of 5/9/2024.
- The far right-hand column shows how the different investing models are performing as a group.
It is important to keep in mind that none of the Sector BPI portfolios have been using this model since 1/2/2022. The same holds true for the Huygens and Pauling as both were recently moved to the Asset Allocation investing model.
As more data is collected due to the passage of time, the Jensen Slope information will be useful as it will provide clues as to the direction the portfolio is moving, particularly when compared with past performance data.
