Copernicus Portfolio Update: 12 February 2026

February 12, 2026 By Lowell Herr 1 Comment

Copernicus, the all equity portfolio, is back for an update or review.  I’ve backed off from investing only in VOO or the S&P 500.  Ten of the 500 stocks in the S&P 500 make up 39.1% of the entire index.  Let one of the ten (10) sneeze and the S&P 500 index will come down […]

February 16, 2026 By hedgehunter Leave a Comment

US Equities continued consolidating in the 6800-7000 range in the SPX (S&P 500 Index) but closing ~1.3% lower than last week’s close and near the bottom of the channel:

Dirac 2026 Portfolio Review: 13 February, 2026

February 16, 2026 By hedgehunter Leave a Comment

The objective of the Dirac portfolio is to try to beat the performance of the broader US Equity markets, as represented by SPY, by rotating holdings between sectors that comprise the benchmark. Currently holdings look like this: with seven of the ten sectors available in the quiver being held in the portfolio.

Millikan Portfolio Review: 17 February 2026

February 17, 2026 By Lowell Herr Leave a Comment

Millikan is the Asset Allocation portfolio up for review this morning.  I added SCHD as another dividend oriented asset knowing there is overlap with VYM and VIG.  Dividends are used to keep asset classes in balance.  Since cash is at a premium and I don’t plan on selling existing holdings, I’ll wait for any infusion […]

Bohr Portfolio Review: 18 February 2026

February 18, 2026 By Lowell Herr Leave a Comment

While the Bohr portfolio is an Asset Allocation style portfolio, the emphasis is more on generating income than focusing on growth.  As a result the Bohr is not one of the better performing portfolio when compared to any of the six benchmarks I track here at ITA.  Should we see a market correction or worse […]

Franklin Sector BPI Portfolio Update: 20 February 2026

February 20, 2026 By Lowell Herr Leave a Comment

Franklin is nearly 40 months old and still thriving as one of three Sector BPI portfolios.  Named after Rosalind Franklin, this portfolio is holding its own when compared to any of the six Internal Rate of Return (IRR) benchmarks and the Jensen Performance Index.  The Jensen is also known as the Jensen Alpha. Investors interested […]

Schrodinger Portfolio Update: 24 February 2026

February 24, 2026 By Lowell Herr Leave a Comment

We begin the last week of February with an update of the Schrodinger, the single Robo Advisor portfolio tracked here on the ITA blog.  The Schrodinger has been operating for approximately 8.5 years.  I use a start date of 12/31/2021 in order to compare the performance with much younger portfolios. Over the past four plus […]
