Schwab rarely re-balances their Intelligent Portfolios, of which Schrodinger is one. The computer model called for a few adjustments and these are included in the following review. Adding shares of MUB is one of the major changes that recently occurred.
Long-time readers will recall the Schrodinger was established to answer the question – Who will manage the family portfolio when I die?

In addition to adding MUB, the Schwab computer also added a share of VB. I don’t understand the addition of so few shares, but I suppose this is what the model calls for.
Schrodinger Performance Data
Since 12/31/2021 the Schrodinger has outperformed the SPY benchmark by a sizable percentage and the spread is even larger when compared with other benchmarks such as AOA and AOR. This Robo Advisor portfolio is performing very well and the owner does nothing except save and add new money to the account. It does not get easier than this to manage a portfolio.
Schrodinger Risk Ratios
Over the past 13 months the key risk ratio, Jensen Performance Index, has consistently returned positive values with one exception.
The slope of the Jensen is also positive (0.12), another comforting measurement.
Investors looking for a low maintenance portfolio should look no further than the Schrodinger.
