Early stage of Coral Charm peony
As with several other portfolios I don’t intent to be fully invest in all asset classes other than SCHO. Instead of holding cash in a money market I move cash into short-term treasuries (SCHO) where the current interest rate is 4.0%. As dividends come in I will pick up a few shares in income generating ETFs, but the strategy is to wait for better buying opportunities. If the Berkshire managers can wait, so can I.
Bohr Asset Allocation
Below is the revised asset allocation model for the Bohr portfolio. Note the high percentage of the portfolio is parked in SCHO. Until we see at least a 10% correction I intent to hold this position in short-term treasuries. As dividends accrue I will purchase additional in dividend generating ETFs such as VTIP, STIP etc. If and when a correction occurs I will then sell shares of SCHO and begin to rebuild asset classes that are under target. See the next screenshot.

Bohr Rebalancing Recommendations
The purple arrow points to the shares needed to bring the various asset classes into balance. I see where I made an error with SCHD. I don’t plan to sell these shares. Only shares of SCHO would be sold so as to generate cash to begin to increase shares in ETFs that are under target.
Some months back the owner of this portfolio needed cash for specific expenses. The hope is to rebuild the Bohr back to where it was a few years ago.

Bohr Performance Data
Since 12/31/2021 the Bohr has lagged all benchmarks tracked here at ITA. When we see this problem we look to the Risk Ratios (following screenshot) to see what direction the portfolio is currently moving.

Bohr Risk Ratios
With exception of the Sortino Ratio, all risk ratios are below where they were a year ago. The single bright bit of data is the positive slope of the Jensen Alpha, the most important of the four ratios. With the revised asset model I anticipate improvement in the Jensen over the next few months.
