Cutsforth Market Cruise In – Canby, OR
Gauss is another mini-asset allocation portfolio where only a few ETFs are used to populate the account. In keeping with a “preserve capital” attitude, I have limit orders in place to sell shares of VOO and SCHD. With SCHD I split the sell orders. One order is set to sell approximately one-half the shares at 2.9% and the second order at 4%. These are rather tight TSLOs.
This morning I purchased three more shares of SHV with July dividends.
This is going to be an active week of blog posts as several more portfolios are on tap to be reviewed and updated. The Sector BPI portfolios are designed to preserve capital. The Schrodinger and Copernicus are not set up this way and those are the two I will likely let run come what may with the equities market.
Gauss Security Holdings
Below is the current asset allocation model for the Gauss. With all the political uncertainty and equities at an all-time high I have several limit orders in place so as to preserve capital. When Warren Buffett is bearish on equities it is time to pay attention.

Gauss Performance Data
Since 12/31/2021 the Gauss is just managing to outperform the AOR benchmark, but is woefully behind the S&P 500 (SPY) ETF.

Gauss Risk Ratios
I don’t anticipate much change in the negative slope for the Jensen Performance Index until early next year. While the other three indexes are higher than they were a year ago, it is the Jensen I most closely follow as it is by far the most complete and informative of the four risk measurements.

Socialism: Individual-1 pushing the government to take a significant percentage of Intel smacks of socialism.
“Socialism is an economic and political system advocating for social ownership of the means of production, which can include public, collective, or cooperative control, rather than private ownership, to achieve greater equality, community, and human flourishing. It is often presented as a contrast to capitalism, aiming to end exploitation and wealth inequality by giving society as a whole control over resources and the economy.“
