August 22, 2025 By Lowell Herr Leave a Comment

Once more it is time to review or update the Schrodinger portfolio.  This Robo Advisor portfolio continues to perform very well despite the large percentage held in cash.  Should we experience a major draw-down, it will be interesting to see how the Schwab computers

Gauss Revised Asset Allocation Portfolio Review: 5 September 2025

September 5, 2025 By Lowell Herr 4 Comments

Kepler CEF Portfolio Review: 12 September 2025

September 12, 2025 By Lowell Herr 3 Comments

As one of the poorest performing portfolios, if not the least productive, it was encouraging to see Kepler turn in the top performance in August.  It might be an outlier or the beginnings of a strong future using Closed-End-Funds (CEFs).  The Kepler is certainly a portfolio

September 27, 2025 By Lowell Herr Leave a Comment

As we approach the fourth quarter of 2025 I will be setting up portfolios for 2026.  The outlook is less promising for the coming year compared to 2025 so a more conservative approach makes sense.  The new asset allocation for the Millikan is designed to be

Schrodinger Portfolio Update: 28 October 2025

October 28, 2025 By Lowell Herr 2 Comments

Once more we examine what activity, if any, is taking place within the Schrodinger portfolio.  For new readers the Schrodinger is a Robo Advisor portfolio or one that is managed by computer.  The Schrodinger is housed with Schwab and is designated as an Intelligent Portfolio.  Since the

Pauling Portfolio Review: 13 November 2025

November 13, 2025 By Lowell Herr Leave a Comment

Pauling is one of several portfolios recently converted to the Asset Allocation management model.  While the assets may vary slightly from portfolio to portfolio, the general management model is the same.  Select Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) that represent different asset classes, set target percentages, and then follow the
