Where but in a beach community.
As mentioned in the blog post yesterday, Schwab sent out a notice that the Intelligent Portfolio was updated. This post reflects those additional purchases. The Schrodinger was initially set up to answer the question, “Who Will Manage The Family Portfolio When I Die?”
Reviews of the Schrodinger are simple and straight forward as no decisions are required with this portfolio. Computers at Schwab make all the decisions. I wish they had an option to select a Sector BPI model, something that could be computerized by a team of skilled programmers.
Schrodinger Security Holdings
Below are the current holdings in the Schrodinger. Schwab constructs their Intelligent Portfolios around the time tested Asset Allocation model.

Schrodinger Portfolio Performance
Over the past 24.5 months the Schrodinger generated an annualized IRR of 6.8% while the S&P 500 (SPY) gained approximately one percentage point. Over this two year span we experienced one bad year (2022) and one good year (2023). For the S&P 500, this balanced out to nearly zero.

Schrodinger Risk Ratios
When risk enters the equation the Schrodinger is strong in all areas. Encouraging is the positive slope (0.30) of the Jensen despite the increases in short-term interest rates.

Consider adding an Intelligent Portfolio to your stable of family portfolios.
