Splendor and the Brass: CD Recommendation for June 14

1939 Plymouth that covered over 13,000 miles from York, Pennsylvania to Fairbanks, Alaska. Over 4,000 miles were gravel and dirt road.

In celebration of Kipling’s fourth birthday (actually unknown) I am recommending Splendor and the Brass as there are so many five star selections on this single recording.  Featured composers are:  Handel, Vivaldi, Holborne, Zelenka, Scheidt, and several anonymous composers.

There may be a few of you who are not fans of classical music so an alternative is Sons of the Pioneers.  How is that for a contrast?  At least both selections begin with an S.  My music collection is quite eclectic.
