Gauss Portfolio Review: 11 September 2023

September 11, 2023 By Lowell Herr

Action is required for not only the Gauss portfolio, but the other Sector BPI Plus portfolios as three sectors are flashing Buy signals.  Those three sectors are:  Consumer Discretionary (VDC), Health (VHT), and Utilities (VPU).  Utilities was recommended for purchase a week or so ago while Discretionary and Health are new recommendations.

Franklin Portfolio Review: 13 September 2023

September 13, 2023 By Lowell Herr

Franklin is the Sector BPI Plus portfolio up for review this morning.  No changes are anticipated as the three sectors calling for a Buy are already filled.  Utilities (VPU) is actually over-subscribed.  Cash is limited and I’ll explain what I am doing with that money.

McClintock Portfolio Review: 22 September 2023

September 22, 2023 By Lowell Herr

ITA Wealth Management blog has been “semi-dead” for a number of days as I’ve been on a road trip.  Now that I am back, prepare for an unusual number of portfolio reviews in a relative short period of time.  The update of the McClintock is the first.  Fortunately, little action took place within this portfolio […]

Carson Sector BPI Portfolio Review: 26 September 2023

September 26, 2023 By Lowell Herr

Before updating the Carson I checked to see if any new Bullish Percent Indicator (BPI) revelations emerged since the last update.  No changes showed as Discretionary, Staples and Health remain in the oversold zone.  As the oldest Sector BPI Plus portfolio it always interesting to see how well the Carson is performing when compared to […]

Franklin Sector BPI Portfolio Update: 27 September 2023

September 27, 2023 By Lowell Herr

Like the Carson, which I reviewed yesterday, the Franklin is one of six Sector BPI Plus portfolios.  This investing model is rather new and unique to the ITA Wealth Management site.  At least I’ve not found anything quite like it on the Internet.  Several links are provided at the bottom of this post to help […]

Bethe Portfolio Review: 28 September 2023

September 28, 2023 By Lowell Herr

As the third quarter comes to a close I am updating a few portfolios before 33 calendar days expire so as to record September data for all the risk ratios.  Bethe, Huygens, and Pauling are the three remaining portfolios that need to be updated.  Bethe is gradually migrating from a growth and income portfolio over […]

Franklin Sector BPI Portfolio Review: 2 October 2023

October 2, 2023 By Lowell Herr

Several Sector BPI Plus portfolios are scheduled for review this week.  Franklin is the first.  I checked the BPI data this morning and it is too early for any Monday data to show up.  I expected to see the market move up based on the U.S. Government remaining open for business.  Instead, the market opened […]

Carson Sector BPI Portfolio Update: 3 October 2023

October 3, 2023 By Lowell Herr

Carson is the Sector BPI Plus portfolio up for review this morning.  Real Estate is still in the oversold zone and thus far the Carson is not holding any shares of VNQ.  There is insufficient cash to build VNQ up to the recommended 9.7% level so I placed a limit order to purchase as many […]
