Einstein Sector BPI Portfolio Review: 16 February 2024

February 16, 2024 By Lowell Herr

Risk Drives Return – Charles Ellis In several cases the owner of a portfolio requires cash be available within a six months period.  The Einstein is one such account so this portfolio will not be fully invested.  Should all eleven sectors ever be oversold, this would require some adjustments in the percentage invested in each […]

Einstein Portfolio Review: 29 January 2024

January 29, 2024 By Lowell Herr

Einstein is the Sector BPI portfolio up for review this morning.  One change made to the investment quiver is the addition of Developed International Equities (VEA) and Emerging Market Equities (VWO).  Neither asset class is currently recommended for purchase so now is a good time to add these two additional securities to the investment quiver. […]

Einstein Sector BPI Portfolio Review: 9 January 2024

January 9, 2024 By Lowell Herr

Einstein is a particularly interesting Sector BPI portfolio as the owner moves money in and out of the portfolio for personal needs.  Whereas most portfolios don’t see all that many withdrawals, the Einstein is different.  When viewing performance and associated risks, keep this in mind.  Deposits and withdrawals add another variable to the Sector BPI […]

Einstein Sector BPI Portfolio Review: 29 December 2023

December 29, 2023 By Lowell Herr

Einstein is another portfolio that switched from the Relative Strength model over to the Sector BPI investing model.  With only two months of data we need to check on trends rather than absolute performance numbers.  By this time next year we will have a much better idea as to the viability of the Sector BPI […]

Einstein Portfolio Review: 4 December 2023

December 4, 2023 By Lowell Herr

Einstein Sector BPI Portfolio Review: 8 November 2023

November 8, 2023 By Lowell Herr

Einstein is one of several portfolios recently converted or moved to the Sector BPI Plus investing model.  This is an early review of the Einstein as I’m updating portfolios before the 33-Day rotation schedule as I want to be sure the oversold sectors are fully populated and Trailing Stop Loss Orders (TSLOs) are set for […]

Einstein Sector BPI Portfolio Review: 3 November 2023

November 3, 2023 By Lowell Herr

If you missed my Comment attached to the most recent BPI post, reference it now as there are a few BPI data changes due to the positive market movement over the past few days.  This review of the Einstein will reflect these changes.  The current portfolio is well position for market activity over the next […]

Einstein Portfolio Review: 6 October 2023

October 6, 2023 By Lowell Herr

The Einstein portfolio is one of five Relative Strength portfolios tracked here at ITA.  There are some differences in the settings of the different portfolios which influence decisions.  For example, with the Einstein I am taking the long view in that the look-back period is longer and the investing model is the LRPC.  Fewer trades […]
